Venture capital firm Index Ventures tasked us with developing a new visual identity, homepage, and full social campaign to attract new Founder partners to their firm. The campaign needed to stand out in the uninspiring VC category, a space often lacking personality, storytelling, and a human touch.

Approach

The VC category is very similar across the board, with firms offering the same types of benefits and services. But a VC firm doesn’t just provide these services to founder clients; they also help elevate the founders’ own brands. So why not shift the focus to the founders whose brands Index Ventures helps amplify?


Rather than telling the story of Index Ventures by outlining who they are, their philosophy, or brand values, create an editorial campaign focused on personal stories from current Index Ventures Founder partners.

Execution
“Invest in who you are” was a Founder-focused campaign that spotlighted current Index Ventures Founders. It showcased personal, compelling stories of groundbreakers and game-changers, with a tone and style that felt more like an editorial exposé than a typical VC fund homepage.
